As a Senior Adjudication Officer, you will support Parole Operations in the development, maintenance, and coordination of programmatic guidance and oversee RAIO cross-divisional work that could include Form I-131, Form I-290B, processing child-related immigration issues and other cross-cutting RAIO work.
Interpret, apply and enforce an intricate field of Immigration and Nationality laws, including planning and conducting independent research concerning the eligibility entitlements of persons seeking immigration benefits under the INA.
EDUCATIONAL SUBSTITUTION: There is no educational substitution at this grade level. Training: If you have not already done so, you will be required to attend the training that relates to this position as required by the agency. The trainings may last multiple weeks and may be held in-person or virtually. The trainings must be completed successfully according to the standards of the agency. Failure to do so will be grounds for mandatory removal from the position.
Such failure will result in either reassignment to a different position, demotion, or separation by appropriate procedures.
