As a Administrative Officer, you will: Exercise executive leadership, direction, coordination, and control over management programs of the Office to assure balanced, comprehensive support and guidance of Office administration.
Activities include: (1) financial management and control, including workload estimating, budget formulation, presentation, execution, and allotment controls; (2) personnel management, including position allocation, recruitment, placement, promotion, performance standards and appraisals, employee relations and labor relations; (3) training and career development; (4) management policy; (5) contracts and grants; (6) resources management, including space, equipment, travel plans, and supply orders; (7) operational policy coordination; (8) data management and record keeping; and (9) reports management and other management and administrative functions to ensure their proper utilization in attaining program objectives.
Serve as the principal staff arm of the Associate Administrator, setting management goals and objectives and achieving efficient economical administration of the Office's activities.
Manage administrative functions, budget formulation and execution, human resources, standard operating procedures, internal communications, operational data management and record keeping, contracts processes, grants processes, internal policies, and other general management activities to meet the needs, goals, and objectives of the Office. Identifie data required for use in the management and direction of programs.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
