Job Summary

The position is located at the Great Plains Area Youth Regional Treatment Center (GPAYRTC) in Mobridge, SD. The primary purpose is to serve as the full assistant to the GPAYRTC Program Director and coordinate the daily operations of the treatment center. Providing administrative assistance and support in obtaining and providing services essential for the direction and operation of the treatment center.

A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Key Responsibilities

Exercises direct supervisory responsibility for strategic planning; operations and organizational oversight; policy, procedure and program development. Serves as the principal advisor to Management for program planning activities, budget preparation, budget execution, program evaluation activities, and for the integrity of cost-accounting documents.

Serves as the principal advisor to management on personnel management activities to include: designing staff patterns to carry out program goals within budgetary constraints Directs day-to-day quality assurance, risk management and accreditation compliance activities of the treatment center including risk assessments and evaluation of compliance with federal, state and IHS laws, policies and regulations.
