Incumbent serves as the Administrative Officer to the Business Office. In this position, the individual provides for a variety of complex administrative management services and related perspectives essential to the operation and direction of the Business Office.
Major duties and responsibilities include: Personnel Administration and Management Work: Directs the personnel management program for the organization, performing or overseeing a full range of human resource requirements. Performs the full range of personnel management and administration for a small organization with varied functions and activities. Acts as the liaison with the human resources office concerning personnel-related matters.
Provides advice and assistance to staff concerning Federal and agency personnel processes and procedures. Budget/Financial Management Work: Provides for the budgeting and financial management for the Business Office. This included budget formulation, justification, and execution; financial management; and financial reporting for total budget of 2.2 million. Provides advice to management and program personnel on budgetary and finance issues.
Manages budget formulation and execution for a changing budget of administrative expenses involving different funding sources. Analyzed Federal Budget calls, reviewing guidelines and instructions. Briefs Business Office leadership of schedules and data requirements. Administrative Management: Provides for the overall administrative management for the Business Office.
This may include interpreting administrative policies, developing implementing local policies, defining administrative requirements, and/or providing advice to top management on related issues. This includes but not limited too various Standard Operating Procedures, employee timesheets, advice on decedent affairs, enrollment and eligibility issues, and all other concerns related to the Business Office operations.
Procurement/Contracting: Assisted Parking Contract, Ambulette contracts and all other contracts and proposals Business Office related. This may include preparing procurement requests, evaluating proposals for work, acting as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for procurements, and/or maintaining procurement and contracting records. Manages contracting and procurement for small procurements that require varying approaches. Performs other related duties as assigned.
