Job Summary

This position is located in the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA). All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Major Duties

Provide strategic leadership for the Office of Apprenticeship (OA) by setting goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with ETA's mission. Lead organizational planning and change efforts, ensuring OA activities and resources support a cohesive and effective National Apprenticeship System. Oversee program execution by managing resources, evaluating program results, improving processes, and applying technology to strengthen performance and outcomes. Direct managers and staff to build a high-performing workforce through effective planning, employee development, merit-based practices, and strong performance management. Serve as OA's principal representative with DOL leadership, federal and state agencies, employers, labor organizations, education partners, and other stakeholders. Build and maintain strategic partnerships to share information, strengthen coordination, and support the expansion, modernization, and administration of Registered Apprenticeship programs.
