Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to develop the WG-5306-08 Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic via the approved AF Civil Engineering HVAC Technical Training Plan to further technical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs developmental assignments consisting of tasks which have been selected to develop skills to the Journey Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic level. - Selects tools, decides on methods and techniques to use, and installs a variety of parts including major portions of assigned systems and equipment, applying and interpreting information in blueprints, charts, and sketches.
- Recognizes the cause of faulty equipment - Utilizes established safety practices, rules, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
