Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a crew chief and technical authority, having custody of an assigned aircraft, with primary responsibility for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing the maintenance and periodic inspections to the assigned aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
Serves as crew chief of assigned aircraft, responsible for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing maintenance on the aircraft. Performs aircraft inspections including preflight, postflight, phase, and other scheduled and unscheduled inspections. Diagnoses and identifies probable locations of malfunctions from the cockpit during engine run-up. Initiates requests for unscheduled tools, equipment, and materials during preparation for flight.
Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area.
