The primary purpose of this position is to remove, install, adjust, align, inspect, troubleshoot, and perform final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assembles, and components such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control systems
Key Responsibilities
- Performs inspection and troubleshooting on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders/commercial manuals (C40 only) and specifications. - Positions, maintains, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders and specifications.
- Accomplishes operational and maintenance record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area. - Verifies and certifies work processes and procedures and adequacy of work accomplished by certified co-workers and trainees.
