The Assistant Commissioner (AC), Office of Login is located within the Technology Transformation Services (TTS) for the Federal Government. TTS' mission is to design and deliver a digital government with and for the American public. TTS works to improve access to government services by applying modern methodologies and technologies to improve the lives of the public and public servants.
TTS helps agencies make their services more accessible, efficient, and effective with modern applications, platforms, processes, personnel, and software solutions. The AC, Office of Login determines and is accountable for the program's vision, strategic direction, objectives and goals, including the overall planning, management and direction of the program, while leading an integrated execution strategy, aligning, modernizing, and standing-up current and future products that improve the public's ability to gain access to government services; simultaneously combating fraud, ensuring cost efficiency, and acting in the best interest of taxpayer dollars.
Additionally the AC, Office of Login: Acts as a thought leader/subject matter expert on identity verification and anti-fraud issues across the federal government, actively engaging in (and when appropriate, leading) government-wide initiatives to drive best practices for digital identity services.
Develops and leads an integrated execution strategy, aligning, modernizing, and standing-up current and future products that improve the public's ability to gain access to government services, while simultaneously combating fraud, ensuring cost efficiency, and acting in the best interest of taxpayer dollars.
Acts as a thought leader/subject matter expert on identity verification and anti-fraud issues across the federal government, actively engaging in (and when appropriate, leading) government-wide initiatives to drive best practices for digital identity services.
Ensures proper oversight and develops and implements a system for risk mitigation and performance measures that link operations to goals and objectives, while developing innovative approaches and alternative technology solutions to mitigate fraud, improve the user's experience, maintain platform up-time, and solve problems associated with identity authorization and verification when users access government resources and programs.
Oversees governance and advisory groups for Login.gov, including Partner Advisory Group and Executive Steering Group, as well as Login.gov's risk management program, while building strategic relationships with government-wide leaders to support Login.gov program priorities and creates policy environments to drive further adoption and performance improvements.
