Job Summary

The Division of Enforcement, Office of the Managing Executive is seeking a Supervisory General Attorney (Legal Operations) (Assistant Director - Business Manager).

As an Assistant Director - Business Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of functions supporting ENF human capital; overseeing day-to-day operations, particularly involving hiring, budget, program management, records management, and FOIA; and continuing business process assessment and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

In this role as an Assistant Director - Business Manager, you will be responsible for: Performing a broad range of functions supporting the operations of the Division of Enforcement, responsible for management of the day-to-day operations in hiring, budget, facilities management, records management, and responses to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for the division.

Developing strategies and plans to fully optimize the use of human capital, financial resources, and advancements in technology to achieve optimum results for the Enforcement Program. Assessing operational shortfalls, identifying opportunities for improvement, initiating technology exploration, and evaluating processes and technologies that may have the potential to improve the effectiveness of the mission of the organization.

Managing the design, development, and implementation or conduct of management systems and activities for program review and analysis. Directing and coordinating financial management activities to include: special and recurring financial reports; internal reviews; collaborating with senior staff to develop and implement plans to modernize program management systems.

Directing and coordinating ENF records inquiries management activities to include: identifying, creating, authenticating, and managing active SEC records, disposing of inactive records and training. Directing and coordinating Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) inquiries, management includes program review and direction and providing guidance to Commission staff on ENF FOIA requests and reviews.

If required transcripts or certificates are not present in your eOPF, you will be required to provide them to OHR.

If selected, a start date will not be established until official transcripts are received.
