As the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for you will be responsible for the oversight and management of nursing personnel in the Interventional Radiology (IR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Outpatient Surgery Unit (OPS). You are responsible for applying the nursing process to systems and processes at the unit, team, and at work group level to improve care and demonstrating leadership by involving others in improving care.
Supports the Nurse Manager with supervisory duties and accountability for 24/7 unit operations. Assists with managing supplies, resources, and equipment for designated areas. Provides coverage for other ANMs as needed. Oversees staff orientation, training, development, and contributes to performance evaluations. Serves as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor, providing day-to-day leadership.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to remove barriers and implement evidence-based programs and processes. Engages in professional organizations to promote leadership growth and career development. Applies ethical decision-making and fosters accountability at individual, organizational, and staff levels. Equips staff to provide culturally competent care and reinforces a culture of high-quality, cost-effective practice.
Builds alliances across the care continuum through active listening, engagement, and emotional intelligence. Contributes to the development of care delivery models and environmental design to support equitable, accessible, evidence-based care. Ensures compliance with accreditation, regulatory standards, directives, policies, and SOPs. Aligns nursing and clinical objectives with organizational strategies and participates in planning and execution efforts.
Promotes an inclusive, diverse workplace aligned with the organization's mission and vision. Supports and assists with patient care, dedicating at least 60% of work time to clinical functions (e.g., serving as charge nurse, covering breaks, acting as a clinical resource).

The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), or Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) must be fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission On Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
