Job Summary

The Nurse Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager (NM) with supervisory duties and responsibility and accountability for the 24/7 operation of their designated units, including clinical associates and laboratory. They provide coverage for other ANMs or NM'S as needed.

The ANM has responsibility and accountability for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and provides input into the evaluation of individual staff performance.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to: Functions as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.

Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and creating innovative process improvement initiatives. Supervises and supports daily operations of clinical associates, care managers, and laboratory personnel.
