The Associate Chief Information Officer (ACIO) for Enterprise, Technology and Architecture Standards is a key member of the DOT's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) leadership team, responsible for leading the development, implementation, maintenance, and maturity of the Department's enterprise technology platforms, associated architecture standards, and for ensuring both emerging and existing technology aligns with the current and future state enterprise architecture standards.
As the ACIO for Enterprise, Technology and Architecture Standards, you will: Enterprise Platforms: Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise platforms strategy that aligns with the Department's mission, goals, and objectives. Enterprise Standards: Oversee the development and implementation of enterprise standards programs to support the efficient and effective delivery of IT services across the Department.
Architecture: Develop and implement enterprise architecture programs to support the Department's mission, goals, and objectives, including the use of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. Application Development: Oversee the development and implementation of application development programs to support the Department's mission, goals, and objectives, including the use of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Data Management: Develop and implement data management strategies to support the Department's mission, goals, and objectives, including the use of data governance, data quality, and data analytics. Collaboration: Collaborate with other federal agencies, industry partners, and stakeholders to share best practices, intelligence, and resources to enhance DOT's enterprise platforms and enterprise standards capabilities.
Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the development and management of the enterprise platforms and enterprise standards budget and resource allocation to ensure that programs are properly funded and resourced. Cyber Security: Ensure the security and integrity of DOT's enterprise platforms and enterprise standards, including the development and implementation of cyber security policies, procedures, and standards.
Oversee the planning, management, and execution of enterprise technology and architecture standards programs across the Department, ensuring alignment with DOT's mission, goals, and objectives. Work closely with senior leaders, program managers, and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and manage enterprise platforms and enterprise standards initiatives that support the Department's strategic objectives.
