This position is located in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), Office of Security Assistance and Operations (INL/SAO), Assistance Coordination Division (INL/SAO/AC). INL/SAO recommends International Narcotics Crime and Law Enforcement (INCLE) funding levels for global, centrally managed programs and manages INL's Circular 175 authority for host-government agreements.
Incumbent provides leadership, coordination, and strategic direction to INCLE.
Key Responsibilities
Leads budget analysis for over $4B in annual INCLE assistance, formulating and defending multi-year budget requests tied to INL priorities, evaluating political and economic impacts on funding, and resolving formulation issues with stakeholders.
