This position is located in the DEA, Financial Management Division (FC), Office of Resource Management (FR), Controls and Coordination Sections (FRB), Funds Control Unit (FRBF) and Technical Analysis Unit (FRBT). This position(s) primary purpose is to monitor and successfully manage and implement Agency wide budgeting and spending plans.
As a your typical work assignments may include: Establishes and maintains effective intra-agency relationships to provide support and assistance to offices requiring change requests of funding types, sources, or have strict spending restrictions. Prepares for review properly formatted financial documents for supervisory review and approval.
Supports the development of strategies to ensure DEA offices are taking appropriate action on their current and prior year undelivered order balances. Works closely with other finance offices to gather financial or budgetary information and provide feedback to assist in other facets of program financial planning.
