Job Summary
This position is located in the Office of the Managing Director (OMD), Financial Operations Center (FOC), Budget Center, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) located in Washington, DC. RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE PAID. THIS VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT MAY BE USED TO FILL ADDITIONAL POSITIONS WITHIN 90 DAYS.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent functions as a principal advisor to senior FCC leadership, including Bureau and Office Chiefs, the Chief Budget Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, the Managing Director, and other executives, on highly complex and sensitive budgetary and fiscal policy matters.
Budget Analyst tasks have agency-wide impact, require mastery of federal budget and appropriations law, and directly influence executive decision-making, resource prioritization, and the Commission's ability to carry out its statutory mission.
Serves as a senior subject matter expert responsible for the strategic formulation, justification, execution, analysis, and monitoring of complex, agency-wide, multi-year, multi-fund budgets, including both appropriated and non-appropriated sources, supporting FCC programs across multiple Bureaus and Offices.
