Key Responsibilities
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Leads the review and analysis of Military Department headquarters JROTC Program Objective Memoranda (POMs), budget estimate submissions, and other resource proposals. Interprets and applies federal appropriation law, Department of Defense financial regulations, and internal control requirements to JROTC resource issues.
Serves as a technical advisor to directors, program leads, and military department headquarters on complex resource issues. Reconciles financial and program data drawn from multiple Military Department Sources. Identifies potential fiscal control concerns for referral to appropriate legal counsel and other responsible officials.
