This position is located in Director, Budget Division, in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), The incumbent reports directly to the CFO and is the senior official responsible for directing, executing, and sustaining the Agency's budget formulation and execution functions in a highly constrained, dynamic, and politically complex operating environment.
As a Budget Director, you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to: Develops and updates internal budget policies, procedures, and guidance to reflect changing statutory, regulatory, and operational requirements. Oversees apportionment and reapportionment strategies and proactively engages OMB to resolve execution issues, timing constraints, and execution flexibility. Directs the formulation of agency's annual budget submissions, including budget justifications to OMB and Congress and internal operating and program plans. Perform the full range of supervisory duties: plan, schedule, and assign work; conduct annual performance appraisals on staff, identify training needs and opportunities for staff, carry out EEO policies and program activities.
