This position is located in the Space Portfolio Division (SPD), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), in the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Office (DCMO). SPD provides a comprehensive, centralized program for the efficient and cost effective management of all leased buildings and specific federal buildings located throughout the Washington, DC area.

This position is being filled under Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce, in accordance with Section 7, Direct Hire Auth 5 U.S.C. § 9905, 6/23/2023 Please read this Public Notice in its entirety prior to submitting your application for consideration. Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Manages building operations and support services for assigned large, complex leased and Federal facilities.
Plans and coordinates maintenance, repairs, renovations, alterations, relocations, and space reconfigurations. Serves as COR and monitors service contracts, funding, technical requirements, and reimbursable projects. Conducts building, safety, service, and lease-compliance inspections; identifies deficiencies and implements or recommends corrective actions.
Advises tenants and leadership on building operations, space utilization, safety, security, emergency planning, and facility-support requirements.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-12 grade-level. Education can be substituted for experience at the GS-09 & GS-11 grade-level ARE YOU QUALIFYING BASED ON EDUCATION or A COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE? GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis.
If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S.
