Job Summary

The Criminal Division is seeking an experienced IT leader to serve as the Chief Information Officer (Director, Information Technology Management). This position reports directly to the Executive Officer and will lead and supervise all enterprise-wide IT operations for the Division through managers over critical portfolios such as cybersecurity, development, litigation support, and records management.

Key Responsibilities

As Chief Information Officer, responsibilities will include: Overseeing all Information Technology Management (ITM) functions for the Division, including leadership of IT customer support, enterprise architecture, application development, analytics, project management, infrastructure engineering, and cybersecurity operations.

Establishing guidelines and performance expectations for staff members and formally evaluating performance; providing continuous feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery. Planning and developing long-range objectives and milestones for substantive mission-oriented IT projects and programs, including enterprise applications, infrastructure upgrades, cloud and data platform evolution, and multiyear development efforts.

Integrating aspects of configuration management, enterprise architecture, infrastructure design, and systems integration into IT project plans. Leading development, revision, and enforcement of IT policies, standards, governance frameworks, and compliance mechanisms, including enterprise AI governance aligned with DOJ requirements.

Directing enterprise architecture strategy and development, including the Division's strategic architecture policies and system modernization initiatives. Managing acquisitions and resource allocations to ensure the successful development of approved enterprise architecture designs, enterprise applications, and the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems.

Ensuring high-quality IT customer support by overseeing Service Desk operations and driving continuous improvement in technical assistance for CRM's user community.
