You will serve as a Chief of Science and Resource Management with National Park Service at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Rainbow Bridge National Monument. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Serves as the senior principal advisor in the management of natural and cultural resources and is responsible for program development, implementation and oversight. Carries out program management duties by developing work plans and schedules, scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals, and/or grants to justify funding request and accomplish goals.
Provide accurate and reliable advice and guidance to park leadership on all matters relating to resource management and tribal relations. Develops and maintains effective working relations with Native Americans, other traditional associations, and related groups, agencies and the public; represents the superintendent when working with others on resource stewardship. Provide technical and substantive direct supervision to a highly specialized staff.

Foreign Education: To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.
