This Flex position is with the School Age Center at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois. A cut-off of 10/06/2026 will be used to send eligible applicants to management. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)
This position provides appropriate developmental care and instruction for children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years in Child and Youth Services (CYS) programs.
Proof of education is required at time of application. Failure to provide proof of education will result in an ineligible rating. To be found eligible, proof of education must be submitted with the application along with a copy of a current valid driver's license.
Acceptable documents for proof of education are a high school diploma, a high school transcript (showing the graduation date), a GED certificate, a college transcript listing courses that were taken, or proof of a college degree.
