Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of a Child Development Center. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors to manage a workforce of more than 80 employees (including APF/NAF personnel, plus a varying number of volunteers.). Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Responsible to plan, administer, carry out and evaluate early childhood development (CD) and preschool programs designed to promote children's physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth from infancy to school age. Manages funds and resources. Manages CDC fiscal matters, including formulating, justifying, submitting, defending, and administering the Center's budget.
