The primary purpose of this position is Child and Youth Program (Office Automation Clerk) GS-0303-05 and to provide overall administrative support for the Child Development Center (CDC) and Youth Program (YP).
Acts as on-site assistant, when necessary. Gives on-the-job training to new clerks. Obtains assistance from the supervisor on problems that may arise such as backlogs. Establishes, updates, monitors, and maintains office records of various types. Performs a full range of standard and non-standard clerical assignments. Provides customer service to patrons. Monitors everyone entering the facility. Greets customers and permits only those persons on official business to remain in the facility. Prepares a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents.
