This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a lead Civil design Engineer in the Civil Design Section responsible for design aspects for a large variety of Military, Civil Works and Interagency and International Services (IIS) projects presenting problems of significant depth and complexity.

Prepares preliminary designs for planning and budgetary purposes and contract documents including plans and specifications.
