About the Position: This position supports the Department of Pathology, Microbiology at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Full time position, 1st shift (8 hours) within 6:00am-4:30pm (0600-1630), rotating weekend/holidays. No travel/on-call. Not eligible for telework. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Performs highly technical Infectious Disease analyses in Bacteriology, Serology, Molecular Diagnostics, Virology, Mycology, Mycobacteriology, or Parasitology.
