The mission of Behavioral Health and Life Services (BHLS) is to provide premier whole-person consultation, treatment services, education, and resources to the NSA workforce worldwide, including individuals, organizations, and family members. Major Duties

The National Security Agency (NSA), America's premier cryptologic organization, is seeking experienced, doctoral-level Clinical Psychologists adept at working flexibly within a dynamic work environment. Successful candidates will provide support across three main areas: direct clinical care, workplace consultation, and psychoeducational training. The selected Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological treatment for affiliates (both civilians and military) working some of our nation's most critical missions and their spouses. This individual will provide brief, solution-focused mental health treatment (including intake assessment and ongoing documentation) for individuals, couples, and groups. On-call and emergency response duties are required to on a periodic basis in support of NSA's commitment to support employees in crisis. The selected individual will also provide multi-tiered workplace consultation to leaders within NSA via both ad hoc and embedded (ongoing) frameworks. Workplace consultations may focus on identifying and mitigating individual and organizational issues; assisting leaders as they address sensitive interpersonal issues; consultation and training for operational personnel; and promoting a positive, productive workplace culture. Development and delivery of psychoeducational trainings, sharing of case presentations, and participation in the peer review process are also included in the scope of work. Psychoeducational trainings may focus on any range of mental health issues, including (but not limited to) stress management, sleep hygiene, suicide awareness and prevention, and anxiety reduction.
