About the Position: This position is located within the Directorate for Medical Services at U.S. Naval Hospital Sigonella, Italy, you will serves as a Mental Health Consultant (MHC) in the Primary Care-Mental Health Integration Program. The incumbent delivers evidence-based biopsychosocial assessment, treatment, and management of mental health and related conditions for Military Health System beneficiaries. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA).
Key Responsibilities
Performs biopsychosocial evaluations, conducts mental health diagnoses, and delivers brief, problem-focused interventions (e.g., CBT).
Requirements & Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
