This vacancy is for a GS-0080-12, Command Security Officer located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, COAST GUARD CYBER COMMAND in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia.
You will serve as a/an Command Security Officer and be responsible for managing all facets of collateral security program management to include personnel, physical, information, and operational security (OPSEC), as well as managing the Antiterrorism Force Protection (AT/FP) and industrial security programs for CGCYBER. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Managing personnel, physical, and information security for all CGCYBER Classified Work Spaces (CWS) on C5I-Alexandria Campus. Managing personnel security for more than 700 personnel (military, civilian, and contractor) for CGCYBER nationwide. Developing programs and enforcement policies for CGCYBER for the protection of all Classified National Security Information and material. Preparing clear, concise, and well-organized reports, memos, emails, and other written materials. Conveying information, instructions, and ideas clearly and effectively in meetings, briefings, and conversations.
