GS-07 Performs a variety of specific duties designed to develop knowledge and skill in applying computer engineering principles, methods and techniques. Performs computer engineering work of limited scope and complexity in support of projects assigned to higher grade engineers. Uses engineering manuals, standard publications and technical material to obtain information and pertinent data to be used by higher level engineers, contractors and/or customers. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to maintain current in the field and for application to work assignments. GS-09 Performs computer engineering assignments which are routine and recurring. Performs computer engineering work in support of projects assigned to higher grade engineers. Participates in the collection and analysis of the information, data and standards used by the assigned organization to perform a variety of computer engineering assignments. Uses engineering manuals, standard publications and technical material to obtain information and pertinent data to be used by higher level engineers, contractors and/or customers. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to maintain current in the field and for application to work assignments. *This is a formal AF intern position in the Recent Palace Acquire Program (PAQ) and, as such, it is centrally funded by HQ AFPC/DPZS.
