Key Responsibilities
This DHS Joint Duty Program assignment supports the development of a comprehensive continuity evaluation program for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Specifically, this position will revise and develop continuity-related documents; research and interpret continuity-related plans, policies and directives; and brief personnel on continuity-related documents and activities.
Specific duties include: - Developing (or participating in the development of DHS and national level continuity documents (e.g. Federal Continuity Directives). - Developing continuity-related brochures and templates for use by DHS components, staff, and leadership. - Participating in, or conducting, Business Process Analyses and Business Impact Analyses at the component and headquarters levels.
- Developing and delivering briefings to internal and external continuity stakeholders.
