This position is located in FEMA's Region 10 Mission Support Division, Finance Branch in Bothell, WA. The ideal candidate has experience managing complex federal acquisitions, advising stakeholders on procurement strategy, negotiating contracts, and ensuring Federal Acquisition Regulation compliance in mission-driven operations.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as a Contract Specialist for FEMA's Regional Offices, Region Ten, Mission Support Division, Finance Branch in Bothell, WA.
Typical assignments include: Serving as a Contracting Specialist in support of FEMA Region Ten and disaster field offices within the region, including contract formation, solicitation, negotiations, cost and price analysis, award, contract administration, termination, and close-out.
Functioning as a team lead to assign, and balance the work of team members, establish priorities, monitor progress, evaluate completed work, and ensure assignments are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve acquisition issues, obtain required resources, and ensure contract actions support mission requirements and strategic priorities.
