This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for STRL Mission Support. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. You will assist senior contract specialists in the negotiation and administration of contracts and orders between the Government and contractors.
Basic Requirements: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. In addition to the above basic requirement, in lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: DA-03: 2 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's or equivalent graduate degree or LL.B. or J.D.
DA-02: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. NOTE: The education requirements listed above apply only to individuals entering DoD GS-1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000.
Current civilian personnel in DoD who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000 are exempt from meeting this requirement. Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS (or equivalent)-1102 or before September 30, 2000 are also exempt from meeting this requirement.
