About the Position: Serves as a senior Contract Specialist with responsibility for pre-award and post-award contracting functions for a variety of the more complex supply, service, and construction requirements for several activities within a geographical area. This position is eligible for situational telework. This position is NOT a full-time telework position.
Analyzes procurement directives to determine method of contract (sealed bid/negotiated) most suitable contract type (utilities, FFP, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FPI, indefinite delivery, letter, and requirements).
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
