Job Summary
You will serve as a Custodial Worker (MVO) . The primary purpose of the work is custodial and janitorial work such as sweeping, scrubbing and waxing floors, washing windows and walls, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. This position is located within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Natl Pk Svc, Intermount, Div of Facility Mgmt., West Glacier, Montana.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Performs custodial/janitorial duties including: cleaning, sanitizing, emptying trash, and restocking public restrooms; cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying trash and recyclables. Scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors using heavy (industrial type) power scrubber and buffer. Washes walls using powered wall washing machines and/or by hand. Vacuums/cleans rugs, carpets, etc.

Occasionally works on ladders and scaffolds to change light bulbs, wash walls, etc. Keep shop areas clean and in order. Sweeps and wet mops floor and removes various liquid and solid wastes, spills, etc.
On a regular and recurring basis operates light duty motor vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds (such as pick-up trucks, flatbed trucks, 5 yard dump trucks, etc.) to transport personnel, material, or equipment to work sited located on the park.
Requirements & Education
There is no substitution of education for experience for Federal Wage System (FWS) positions.
