This Custodial Worker position is located at Fort Larned National Historic Site in Larned, Kansas Please visit find a park for additional park information. This is a Permanent, Part-time, Competitive appointment.
At the full performance level (WG-02) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Cleans restrooms, windows, walls, floors, furniture, etc. Empties multiple trash receptacles Works on ladders and scaffolds to change light bulbs, wash walls, etc. Operates powered cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, leaf blowers, etc. Moves heavy furniture, supplies, and equipment Occasionally provides general labor assistance in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, trails, etc. Drives passenger cars and pickup trucks to and from job sites
There is no substitution of education for experience for Federal Wage System (FWS) positions.
