PURPOSE: To serve as a US Space Command (USSPACECOM) Data Scientist, utilizing analytical platforms and software to perform data analytics to address business and mission analytic needs, explore requirement development in an iterative, agile process. Perform research of cutting edge data science innovation to adapt for a government environment.
Performs a broad range of data analyses assignments entailing unique problems, creativity, innovative use of techniques, advance approaches, and/or new technology. Applies and researches analytic methodologies. Conducts research in the areas of analytical technologies and business processes to recommend methodologies in support of USSPACECOM objectives.
Prepares and delivers written and oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions. Represents the organization at all levels within the government to include USSPACECOM and its Components, Joint Staff, Service Components, Joint Functional Component Commands and other government agencies, and industry representatives.
