Serves as the Senior Data Scientist for CEPE, leading the development and application of advanced data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical analysis, and enterprise analytics supporting NNSA's statutory responsibilities for independent cost estimating, program evaluation, strategic planning, and enterprise decision-making.
As a Data Scientist you will: Lead development and application of advanced data science, machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics supporting enterprise decision-making. Develop enterprise data architecture, integrate structured and unstructured data sources, establish governance standards, and improve data quality.
Develop AI-enabled analytic capabilities supporting strategic planning, supply chain analysis, digital twins, scenario planning, and enterprise modeling and simulation. Provide authoritative technical leadership while collaborating across organizations and communicating complex analytical findings to executive leadership.
Basic Requirements: Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position. or Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
