About the Position: This position falls under the Defense Health Agency-Atlantic Network at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Dental Clinic, working in a clinical dental environment performing both routine and expanded function dental assistant duties, with responsibilities ranging from patient preparation and treatment support to radiographic work and record keeping, Monday - Friday 06:15 A.M. to 3:15 P.M. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Perform Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) duties in one or more phases of complex/difficult restorative, prosthodontic, oral surgical, endodontic, or oral hygiene treatment.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
