You will serve as a Deputy Division Lead, Resources Management and Science Deputy Division Lead with National Park Service. The Deputy Division Lead for Resources Management and Science supports NPS goals by directing natural and cultural resource programs, science coordination, visitor use impact monitoring, and division administration. The role also manages the Division Safety Program and serves as the primary liaison to the Yosemite Safety Office.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Serve as key member of the Division Management Team for Resource Management and Science (RMS), along with Chief of RMS. Serves as management assistant and second in command to the Division Chief. Coordinates site operations with other branches and operations, including visitor services. Manage visitor services-based agreements with park partners. Provide overall direction, review, planning, execution and coordination of most natural and cultural resource programs.
