Job Summary

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT) operates within the Eastern Kansas Health Care System (EKHCS), ensuring the effective functioning of the Radiology Service. Performs a wide range of CT imaging procedures, including routine and specialized scans of all major anatomical regions (head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities), using appropriate imaging protocols and techniques.

Major Duties

Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Functions: Administers intravenous contrast when required, adhering to contrast safety protocols. Consults with radiologists or supervisors when clarification on non-standard procedures is needed. Maintains timely, complete, and accurate electronic records of all exams performed within the PACS and electronic medical records systems. Performs quality control checks on equipment, maintaining accurate patient records. Coordinates workflow to accommodate emergency and critically ill patients. Manages inventory and restocking of CT, X-ray, and angiography supplies. Maintains strict infection control, sterile technique, and radiation safety standards. Functions independently.
