A housing subsidy of up to $792 for GS-8 and up to $900 for GS-9 per pay period may be available This position is located at the Blackfeet Service Unit within the Indian Health Service. The position will report to the Supervisory Diagnostic Radiology Technologist or designee. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021). Prior to the appointment, candidates must present two valid forms of identification.
Performs comprehensive abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, and soft tissue sonographic studies. Independently selects appropriate transducers and imaging parameters. Identifies normal and abnormal findings, selects representative images, and records exam results in radiology systems for radiologist interpretation. Operates and maintains ultrasound systems. This position is covered by a Bargaining Unit.
