The Permitting and Program Support Division (PPSD) develops regulations, policies and strategies for integrated air quality management of criteria pollutant and hazardous air pollutant programs in coordination with other Office of State Air Partnerships divisions and OAR offices, and provides program training to support State, local, and tribal air agencies with program implementation. Specific duties of this position may include, but are not limited to: - Developing and managing the national air pollution permitting programs, including pre-construction permits (new source review and prevention of significant deterioration), operating permits, and Outer Continental Shelf permits. - Assessing, developing, and implementing the Division's plans, goals, priorities, procedures, policies, and organizational structure. - Serving as the Agency's primary point of contact with internal and external partners with respect to the regulations, policies, and strategies for the integrated air quality management of criteria pollutant and hazardous air pollutant programs. - Ensuring that procurements, contracts, grants, and assistance are managed in accordance with Agency and Office policies, regulatory requirements, and budgetary constraints. - Performing the full range of supervisory human resources functions for the Division and subordinate employees.
