As Dispatcher (Public Safety), GS-2151, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to: Performing assigned job responsibilities in a manner consistent with total quality management principles that promote peak performance and services delivery to our client Indian population. This position serves in a Law Enforcement Communications Center that provide the following services: Provide full services 24-hours/day, seven days a week. Maintain full on-site access (query and input) to NCIC/NLETS criminal history repositories. Is a public emergency answering point for an Agency area with full emergency response responsibility. Provide Emergency Medical Dispatching (EMD) by personnel certified by a nationally recognized entity. Serve multiple jurisdictions and/or agencies.

If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript in order to receive credit for that education which shows the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
