This position is located with Operational Readiness (TORR), Real Time Operations (TOR), System Operations (TO), Transmission Services (T), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). A successful candidate in the Electrical Engineer position will serve as the technical lead and technical authority on Long Range Outage Coordination and Continuous Outage Analysis (COA).
As an Electrical Engineer, you will: Provide outage scheduling recommendations. Identify the optimal timing for an outage need based upon expert technical analysis. Continually assess the probability of requested outages. Continually provide recommendations to the Outage Office to resolve outage conflicts. Provide outage coordination support with the requesting entities.
