The primary purpose of this position, ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, WG-2610-13, is to install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, program, calibrate, and rebuild complete integrated multi-system, complexes consisting of several individually networked electronic subsystems where the system accomplishes a number of major functions.

Major Duties

Install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, program, calibrate, rebuild and perform preventative maintenance on complete integrated multi-system and other complex functions performed by numerous systems. Set up and operate software controlled automated test stations to run established and new diagnostic programs in various test modes to test and troubleshoot multi-system complexes. Use and maintain hand and power tools, precision measurement tools and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, laptop computers, spectrum analyzers, digital/analog multi meters, etc. Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Maintain inspections and maintenance records.
