Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to perform calibration and certification of electrical, electronic, and physical/dimensional Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), including Laboratory Standards and Base Reference Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjust, calibrate, certify, troubleshoot & repair a wide variety of electrical, electronic, physical, and dimensional TMDE, to include electrical, electronic, and physical/dimensional Laboratory Standards, Base Reference Standards and unusually complex multifunctional and/or interrelated TMDE, instruments and instrumentation systems, in any measurement area of the PMEL.
- Coordinate efforts with technical and professional personnel on matters affecting equipment performance, test objectives, and calibration/certification reliability and effectiveness. - Maintains records and documents actions. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe, clean and secure work environment.
