The primary purpose of this position is to utilize professional engineering experience to serve as a senior expert and team lead in executing and conducting all-source technical Integrated Command, Control, Communications & Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) intelligence analysis and production.
DUTY 1: Utilizes professional engineering expertise to conduct comprehensive C4ISR intelligence analysis. Performs professional electronics engineering work involving the application of engineering disciplines to determine the intelligence needs of customers in the acquisition, development, and sustainment of weapon systems, sub-systems, support systems, and equipment items.
DUTY 2: Develops and refines intelligence collection requirements, conducts research, and mentors lower graded engineers and/or analysts. Develops and refines collection requirements for enemy C4ISR capabilities and conducts research to develop all-source assessments for various service, national, and coalition customers. DUTY 3: Provides technical guidance, support, and coordination for C4ISR program planning and intelligence briefings.
Provides technical engineering guidance, advisory support, and assistance during meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning, C4ISR technologies, and support system concepts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
