THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC LEADER, Position Description Number D1209000 and is part of the KS Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site, National Guard.
Key Responsibilities
As an ELECTRONICS MECHANIC LEADER, WL-2604-11, you will serve as a working leader of three or more Electronics Mechanic positions. Assigns work orders to specific crewmembers and selects workers for various jobs on the basis of knowledge, skills, and abilities. Pass on to workers instructions received from the supervisor, demonstrates proper work methods, and starts work.
Insures that needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations. Work along with other workers and sets pace performing non-supervisory repair work of the same kind and level as that done by the group led. Work performed by the incumbent involves diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on a variety of combat and tactical, and communication equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements. Telework: ELIGIBLE FOR SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK

The posted pay range is $35.39 – $41.27/hr.
