Purpose of position is to provide logistics technical advice/guidance to the installation and conduct oversight/surveillance/validation of contractor performance are compliant with requirements identified in Performance Work Statement in support of the Delta, mission goal and objectives. Serves as Electronic Technician Expert for highly complex, real-time critical system at the Eastern Range for manned and unmanned space launch as well as other range, missile, and rocket operations. Provides technical expertise in operation and maintenance of complex and sophisticated systems and equipment. System Support Expert. Acts as expert technical consultant to determine whether systems are operationally acceptable and safe within recommended guidelines.
Provides technical guidance, training and assistance to other technicians and conducts on-the-job (OJT) training to apprentices in all phases of work.
